how can i install a theme on my computer? do i need somethin to do it? if ever can someone link me or teach me how to?
Grab omar's installer from the downloads section. Then grab the update for it also found in the downloads section. Run omar's installer and answer all the fun questions. Run the update. Reboot!

That entire site is about the OTS standard and how themes need to look in order for them to work. There is a tutorial somewhere on the wiki but honestly...it won't help you. It was designed for an older way of doing things. Best thing you can really do is find a theme you like on this site...install it...and then tinker with it and see what happens. Also check out the docs

I think that site is very well written to the point a tutorial would be redundant. Just go through the "Theme Creation" page, and create the directories and files that is called out, then decide what modules you want to have in your theme, and read the documentation on those modules, and implement your theme. Or for a slower learning curve, do what DeVilbOi suggested, play with an already existing theme.
If there is something on the OTS site that needs a tutorial to explain, then please ask specific questions in those areas. Or if you are picking apart a theme, and have specific questions the documentation is not answering, please ask.
