Howdy,
I know I won't be very helpful in this area as LiteStep works for me... Here's my stats: Dell 8100, PIII 866MHZ, 512RAM, GeForce2 16MB, XP Pro ver 2002 (Corp Ed, SP1 not installed) LiteStep 0.24.6, theme: simplicity.
I have some bugs, but mostly I think it's GeForce2 related. One thing that is annoying is the Shortcut tray sometimes keeps "pieces" of programs displayed (if a proggie sits on top of it, and then is closed). Recycling seems to clean it up.
The install was smooth. I do see a delay when using the Welcoming screen. I installed with 2.1 also. Very clean, very nice.
