try to press crtl+shift+F1
This will access the Litestep "core", select LSCP (Litestep control panel), go to themes and select your working theme (double-click) on the name to select...Litestep should refresh and youre back to your original configuration(theme)....
Now comes the hard part... try to find out, won't whent wrong with the theme load, here's a few reasons\opinions:
1. your build isn't recent enoughf (better hope so, I don't think the key combo above works on any other but the 0.24 or above)
2. the theme you install dosen't have the "paths" correctly layout to the Litestep "core" modules i.e.: desktop, popup, etc...(without does, it dosen't load a graphical interface...)
3. browse the theme's Step.rc file or even the Litestep.rc file, maybe the Main step.rc file didn't had the path for the new theme.
Hope I helped more then complicated your life....^_^
