Hey, I just installed LS and got into it after rebooting and it worked great. I didn't really like the current theme I had, so I downloaded BlueOS Theme from http://pika.shellscape.org/LiteStep/themes/. After doing what I thought was slecting the new theme, I restarted. Upon reboot, nothing comes up. I can't do anything. Right-click won't work and I can't attempt to uninstall LS or change the current theme.

Your help is much appreciated as I would like to get my computer up and running again.

try to press crtl+shift+F1
This will access the Litestep "core", select LSCP (Litestep control panel), go to themes and select your working theme (double-click) on the name to select...Litestep should refresh and youre back to your original configuration(theme)....
Now comes the hard part... try to find out, won't whent wrong with the theme load, here's a few reasons\opinions:
1. your build isn't recent enoughf (better hope so, I don't think the key combo above works on any other but the 0.24 or above)
2. the theme you install dosen't have the "paths" correctly layout to the Litestep "core" modules i.e.: desktop, popup, etc...(without does, it dosen't load a graphical interface...)
3. browse the theme's Step.rc file or even the Litestep.rc file, maybe the Main step.rc file didn't had the path for the new theme.

Hope I helped more then complicated your life....^_^

Thanx a ton for your help, BUT :( I can't get into the "Core" by pressing crtl+shift+F1. For some reason, AOL will start up and log in for me, but that is the only program visible and it looks much like the regular WIN 98 theme.

try ctrl+alt+F1......
I may have the keys switched...too many themes on development in my computer may cause some comunication problems...eheheh...
Litestep won't change a programs Graphics or the way it works, just the Windows shell...to change the windows or applications graphics try out http://www.stardock.com 's windowsblinds or ShellWm, there's alink in the link page...^_^

I've done that before. If you haven't gotten it yet... this is how I got out. Hit ctrl-alt-del.. depending on your OS you'll do different stuff, but for example in win2k, you select task manager. Then in the applications tab there is a "New Task" button. Click on that and type in "explorer" and hit enter. It will bring up your normal file manager (explorer) and you can browse to your litestep directory and manually open the LSCP.exe file (which will let you reselect the default litestep theme). If you have any other problems or need specifications, let me know.

pika doesn't keep his themes strictly OTS, which is probably why it didn't work out of the box. It shouldn't be too hard to "OTSize" his themes, though (and it really is worth the effort, his themes are some of the best!). It should be a good learningexperience.
