well showing/hiding "widgets" would be easy really...thats just a toggle bang. But what made the request hard to understand was the windows. What I was talking about doing was instead of trying to get kidnap to bind a window to a label, you just switch to a specific VWM window.

btw...there are some big issues with using kidnap that you may want to look into before you start using it. Not that kidnap is a bad module...just can have unexpected results.
