This could work for you too:

Create a "wallpapers" folder in each theme and put this variable in each theme's "theme.rc" file:

*wallpaper path "C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\LiteStep\themes\wallpaper"


This works with lswchanger-1.2 and the wallpaper variables being set in litestep/step.rc:

WallpaperEnabled true
WallpaperTimeOut
WallpaperDisplayMethod stretch
WallpaperSelectMethod random


(If you don't want the wallpaper to change automatically then I'd imagine setting the "WallpaperTimeOut" variable to a big number such as 10000, and using hot key for a manual !wallpaper action instead, would work.

It did for me, and I'm running XP SP1A with normanbates' KDE3 theme.)
