Have you tried changing your wallpaper?

That theme *Sets* your wallpaper, IIRC, so re-installing it will undo any changes you have made. Just change your wallpaper as you normally would after installing the theme, and then look in the theme readme to see how to disable the automatic wallpaper feature.

This could work for you too:

Create a "wallpapers" folder in each theme and put this variable in each theme's "theme.rc" file:

*wallpaper path "C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\LiteStep\themes\wallpaper"

This works with lswchanger-1.2 and the wallpaper variables being set in litestep/step.rc:

WallpaperEnabled true
WallpaperTimeOut
WallpaperDisplayMethod stretch
WallpaperSelectMethod random

(If you don't want the wallpaper to change automatically then I'd imagine setting the "WallpaperTimeOut" variable to a big number such as 10000, and using hot key for a manual !wallpaper action instead, would work.

It did for me, and I'm running XP SP1A with normanbates' KDE3 theme.)
