globex: I think there is a misunderstanding here:

When you say:
"Is there a way to have Movable Icons and make xDesktop memorize their position."

We assume you have a theme that is using xDesktop. xDesktop saves its positions.

xcal was pointing you to his theme fatbar, it uses xDesktop, if you get this theme you can look at the xDesktop.rc file for how its setup.

Get his theme!
