Disgraceful: Right clicking edit didn't work for me, forgot to mention this. Same old access denied. But yeah, setting notepad as the default program fixes it.
I'm most confused to my font issue though. FI or FL seems to become garbled only in LiteStep and Explorer. It's perfectly fine in Trillian. This happens with the TrueType version of Non|Step. The font itself doesn't seem to be corrupted as it works fine on here.

Hrmm just noticed it's only doing it on lowercase instances of fi and fl. Uppercase seems to display perfectly fine... And it does affect trill too.

Just got the old postscript version off Muhkuh and it display s fine. Strange that the truetype worked before on my other installs and my friends install of sp2 seems unaffected. I guess it's time to make a new conversion from the old postscript one.
