While I have to agree Linux is definatly something all PC users on these forums needs to begin to look into (if they haven't already), this really isn't helping peter with his problem. In fact, it could be causing him more..

Peter: Seriously scan for viruses and ad/spy/malware. If this persits, I'd consider a fresh reinstall of the OS and go from there. It can be easier than attemping to track down all the possible causes of the problem. (I hope it doesn't go this far.) GL with this.
