And no luck with that suggestion... this is really annoying especially since everywhere I look seems to say that this problem was fixed a while ago... could if have anything to do with the fact that I'm using a white font?
Actually I tested that theory and put the font to black but it still gave me the purple tint... I got rid of the tint with some help on the systray so why is it so hard to get rid of it here? Does anyone know if grdtransparent on xlabel using false transparency would give me the same effect as true transparency is supposed to? meaning the text with no background...
