knarf, it is possible to have no wallpaper. use lswchanger.dll (gee, it's the 3rd time i'm recommending this module :) with mzscript.dll.
load lswchanger and put this line into your script.rc:
*Script Start !wallpaper .none
this tells lswchanger on startup to show no wallpaper ;)
