I figured it out, using the program "Replacer" to get past windows file protection I replaced the shell32.dll in the system32 folder with a new reshacked version but what most reshacking tutorials don't tell you is you have to replace the (drive):\windows\ServicePackFiles\shell32.dll as well. I had no idea there were 2 of them. By the way, thx for the help with all the posts that came after my question, I can tell the people on this forum are really helpful. =|
