Yeah, but it doesn't always work (tho apparently it still fails better than the current approach), and never works on Win95. And I haven't finished it yet.
And the reason you need to enable transparency to show them is that that is what transparency does in lsxcommand: it makes the edit box transparent so you can see the bitmap through it.
