and "true" transparency can be clicked through. xLabel's "ghosted" option is a different feature. (just to make it clear)
There's also alpha transparency, which can be done "true"ly on Win2k and XP, and faked on 98 and ME, (but not at all on 95) and the true form of that will allow clicks through where the alpha channel is exactly 0.
So you have:
fake transparency vs. true transparency
magic pink transparency vs. alpha transparency
