after using the installer to set LiteStep as your shell, it tells you that you need to reboot. this is certainly true. rebooting after changing shell settings is the only reliable way for those settings to take effect, at least on NT-based platforms which are the norm now, and it's not goint to hurt on 9x. (In particular, it's essential to reboot in order to get explorer to behave properly as a filemanager under LS. i don't get a kickback everytime someone reboots Cerbie, it's stated as a requirement because it is. :P)
lukas, on any version of windows you can hit CTRL+ALT+F1 anytime LS is running (even if the screen looks blank) to access the recovery menu. From here you can run anything, e.g. SetShell to return to explorer, 'Switch to default theme' to ummm, switch to the default theme, etc. ;)
there is never any need to reinstall an OS if something goes wrong with LS. :|
which themes gave you problems lukas?
