First you must sacrafice your computer to the Litestep Gods, and then send them $19.95 a month for the rest of your life. ;)

Then agian, you could just read.

You can thank Mr. White for starting my morning off in a sarcastic manner. :D

It basically involves making a DLL which exports two functions, initModuleEx and quitModule. Get the source of some existing module and take it apart. :)

do you know c/c++? any other programming language? no? then don't bother with this subject. there are lots of great third-party modules out there to be used and if they don't exactly mach your expectations, you can always consult with the authors.
on the other hand if you know programming, new modules and programmers are always welcome :)

There is an old tutorial.
There is a minimal module (includes source), which shows you the absolute minimum required of a litestep module.
Finally, there is a bunch of source code for existing modules. Pick a really simple one, or one close to what you want to do, and read its source. compile it, tweak it, abuse it, learn from it.

Knowing some C or C++ is almost required, although there are a few modules written with Delphi, and you can use Java, but it requires a support module, iirc.

Mear|in:
You are welcome.

PODNickerz:
You just need to know some programming language. If you want to learn one, I suggest Visual Basic to start. It's probably the easiest. Also, if you really need something to be done with Litestep, a combo of pre-existing modules should be enough. If not, someone who knows what they are doing could probably make you one if you suck up or something.

How Do You Edit The Modules? Everytime I Try Open One Up I Get A Message Saying That I Need To Get Some Third Party Program. Also, I don't Know Any Programming Languages Persay... I've Edited Some Of The Explorer Shell By Just Viewing Some Code And The Viewing The Result Of The Code. I've Had LiteStep With Simplicity Loaded On My PC For About Twelve Hours Now And I've Read Pretty Much All Of The Documentation, But The Only Thing I've Been Able To Change Is The HotKeys,PopUp, And Shortcuts. To Change Such Things As The Taskbar...Etc., You Have To Edit The Actual Module...Right? What Daya Think?
