im having a few problems, and im kinda new when it comes to LS. First off, I get an error message something about the $ModuleDir$ that I dont know how to fix. Also, the buttons on the bottom, "Apps" "Inet" and whatever. Theres nothing under them and I dont know how to put my icons in there. Also, for other themes some of the buttons just dont do anything. Im running WIndows XP btw. I guess that seems to make a difference.

Everything is probably coming from your problems with $ModuleDir$. Please copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl + v) the message box here. Also...check your evars.rc file to make sure that your applications are setup. Also...it would help to know what themes you are using, that have problems.

Hmmm...I just looked at the themepopup.rc and it says:
*Popup "Modules" "!PopupFolder:$ModulePath$docs\"

Maybe that's what needs to be changed.

yah...cuz the module docs aren't supposed to be in that folder per the OTS guidelines I believe.

Just checked the OTS docs. There should be a folder referenced to as $ModulesDir$ and under that folder there should be a folder called "Docs" for the third-party documentation. However, it might be that the themer typed MuduleDir instead of ModulesDir. Happens sometimes to myself. It's right in Excalibur II though. You might want to check that there is a backslash at the end of the ModulesDir path.

*Popup "module docs" !PopupFolder:"$ModulesDir$docs\"
Just delete this line from your pop up.rc and all will be well :-)

Moses, have you solved the problem yet? After I deleted *Popup "module docs" !PopupFolder:"$ModulesDir$docs" , the same error still pops up, the change does not seem to be reflected (after a !recycle). My litestep crashed after I did a reboot..

I was wondering if anyone could help me with adding some shortcuts to the menus on the taskbar?
Thanks

Look in the "docs" directory. There's a file called "UniverseMetaLS.htm". It has all the instructions for setting up those shortcuts.
