So here's my current desktop:

I would like to change which applications show up on the left bar. How would I go about doin that? I've tried to find something in the theme file, but as I really didn't know what I was looking for, I didn't find anything.

It's your quicklaunch folder...change the shortcuts you have in it.

edit - And so there's no confusion, it's located at:

%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

%appdata% in run dialog is your friend!

Thanks alot.

I don't fully understand what appdata does. Does it just open a folder with all hte programs in it?

Well unless you like to turn on hidden folders and then browse to
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\yada yada yada\

Typing %appdata% bypasses that and places you in that hidden folder!

Mine takes you right to the folder.

You could also do this in the run box (assuming litestep.exe is at that location):

c:\litestep\litestep.exe !execute [explorer $quicklaunch$]

I am only implying the simplicity of my approach.

I would just write a script that activates a hotkey that triggers an lsxcommand !command bang that does the same thing, then assign it to be executed by ctrl+right clicking on an autohiding, alphamapped, anti-aliased icon. Definitely the easiest way, IMO.

But don't let me interrupt you two.

You know perfectly well you'd write a vbscript to do it. :P

That's what I said - but it's only step one.
