I am new to Litestep does it do sloppy focus if so how?

This functionality can not be part of the shell, the shell resides on the desktop only. However, there are applications for windows that allow for Sloppy Focus. You will want to look into applications like TweakUI or Xsetup.

well, there´s the Xmouse.dll module. http://www.loose-screws.com/comment.php?type=mod&id=284

it says it works for 98 and 2K only, but maybe that was taken from the readme and the readme was written before XP ;)

what exactly is sloppy focus?

you just move the mouse over a window to give it focus, instead of clicking on it.
