I'm having problem with getting my commandbox transparent.
I've added this to the .rc: CommandTransparentEditBox, but yet it uses my bgcolor... What am I doing wrong?

I'm also having problem on getting it to work with Foobar, anyone now how to get that up and running?

For FB2K, use foo_winamp_spam.

For the trasnparent edit box...you may need an image. Its behavior has changed a bit throught different versions.

Also, about the transparent command, you may be experiencing a rare bug. From the module's author:

"It just doesn't work on some machines and I have no idea why. I'm assuming it has something to do with video drivers, but that's just a wild guess." - Rabidcow

Ok, then it's the bug for me then... Tried to put a transparent png there instead but the pink color showed.

Cerbie can you axplain more about foo_winamp_stamp? do i need any plugins? any other modules?

It's a Foobar2000 component. The first Google hit has always been the home page of it, since I've known about it.

that worked great! thx cerbie! but how do I make it scroll? don't see anything fore emulate the WinAmp's "Scroll Song Title in Windows Taskbar" preference?

I don't know. I've never tried to get that done :). I know xLabel will do it, but that adds more stuff to the configuration mix.

Unlike xlabel, lsxcommand gets it's scroll on/off info from a winamp option...so if you're using Foobar, not sure you're going to get it scrolling.

If you want the command box to be transparent through to anything beneath it, that's not supported. CommandTransparentEditBox makes the bit you type in transparent to lsxcommand's background. This lets you have an image behind the text rather than a rectangle of solid color.

And the reason it doesn't support the other sort of transparency is because Windows doesn't support layered windows with children (at least in win2k) and the text is an edit control (child window).
