ok, easy...disable the theme from loading that config, and set the colors through the display properties.

I think he's asking how to change the color codes :)

They are in Hex. If you have a copy of photoshop or fireworks, use the "bucket" tool, and change the color. Youll notice that by moving the color around, some letters will change. Those are the "hex equivalent" of that color.

You can also google for a list of hex colors.

As for the specific colors you need to make it the "default windows colors," you will have to read the (I think) xdesktop help file to see which of those command lines change which part of the area you want to change... some are pretty straight forward, though:

for example - ScrollBar=fffff

basically makes your scroll bar turn (you guessed it) fffff (or, I think, some shade of green or gray).

Someone more versed with it might be able to tell you exactly what module it is.

Hope that helps,

Amejin.

Erm, the settings displayed above belongs to the Syscolor module and nothing else. And ffffff (six digits, not five) is white. And finally I think both of you are wrong (though I wouldn't bet my life on it); he's not asking to get rid of the syscolor module or editing the current color scheme, he wants to know how to make the LS theme match his current Windows color scheme. If that is actually the case, it depends on what theme we're talking about here. If it's based on system colors it's definitely doable but if it uses graphics you'd have to change the colors of every theme image. Which may or may not be a pretty complex procedure. Again, depending on what theme we're talking about. In any case, editing the Syscolor colors won't help a bit.

Hey, sorry for the confusion I typed in a rush and ran out the door for work. Basically the theme I am using is called 'tenjo(D)' I really like the format and flow of the particualr theme, but dislike that it changed my background colors in internet explorer (and my computer) to an orage sort of color.

aaaah... then deuce is the one you should be listening to :)

You need to switch off Syscolor so the theme doesn't load it.

If you want themes to not change your system colors: Go in to your \personal folder in the litestep folder, open the personal.rc file with a text editor. Scroll down to "SCNoChange" and remove the ";" infront of it, so it becomes active.
