ok i changed all the themes settings to step.rc i have like 15 themes and non of them work except for simplicity???? it just goes to a blank screen? what am I doing wrong ( I am using XPPro) I am using LSTS.exe to change the theme.. well try to.

you're not supposed to touch stepp.rc, nor are you supposed to use LSTS. Do you have a OTS2 compliant install (did you use omar's installer?)If so read o-t-s.sourceforge.net. It will explain you the Open Theme Standard (v2) and how to install themes.

If not, I think you should uninstall LS and reinstall with omar's installer.
