i can't seem to install the litestep enhanced theme for litestep i get the foloowing message:

i don't seem to be the only person having this problem, if u go to http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=6&SkinID=223

you will see a number of ppl having the same probs.

I think answered you're own question. Read the error log you posted, it is quite obvious why it is not working. The log states it quite clearly. Here, I'll put it in bold text for you:

ERROR: complete OTS version info. not found in theme.rc, exiting

So, the normal step to take when encountering an error with a theme, is to report the problem to the author of the theme.

i thought it would be a simple matter fo just adding or modifing something in the theme.rc

i have notifed the auther of the theme but he seems rather busy at th mo

Just make sure this is at the top of the theme if you have something like this but not exact replace it with this

Mm, I have litestep enhanced on my hd (Actually it isn't that great, but hey :P), so try doing this:
unzip the file into your themes directory
refresh litestep
use the switch themes utility
(Assuming you used Omar's installer)
