Im new at the whole Litestep stuff. I was wondering about the wallpapers from the themes you download. When I apply these themes the wallpapers are never applied. Its always the 'basic' wallpaper from when you first install LS. Is there something I need to change to fix this? The main reason I download themes are for their backgorunds. Thanks.

Many themes doesn't include wallpapers... You have to download them from other sources.
Just bumping this old post because I'm having the same problem. Can anyone suggest common sites/servers where wallpapers for popular litestep themes are usually given, or is it a case of emailing the author?

Usually the theme maker doesn't create the wallpaper so they can't be distributed with a theme without the artists permission. However, the theme's author can most likely tell you where they got it so you can download it yourself.
Two good sites to look at for backgrounds are
deviantart.com and
customize.org. Hope that helps a bit.
if you got the theme at ls.net, you can also look in the theme's comments. people often ask for the wallpapers there.
Just open the theme folder and youll find the wallpaper folder there and set as desktop background...
oh sorry, i hardly can understand, how to install a wallpaper into a theme... i have many pretty wallpapers on my pc, but how could i install them on litestep?
i already used an older litestep version, the new one is making me a bit confused ^,^

same as for explorer - open desktop properties and set em as the current wallpaper :P
