hiya all im very new to LS just installed it yesterday and so far love it..however one main problem i see is that i run at a desktop of 1280x1024 and when i use a theme and use the right click options to get to areas lilke themes and quicklaunch and so forth the words are so small that i can barely read them is there any way to change font size in these menu areas

You probably haven't installed the font the theme uses. There might be font files in the "misc" subdirectory of your theme's directory.
