I hope this is the right place to ask, but is there a module or another way to achieve Windows XP style systray. I mean the way it hides inactive icons.

PS. I have been using LS for a day now so I'm quite a newbie. So if the question is stupid, I'm sorry for that.

Not a tupid question if you have only been using it for a day but the answer in NO you can do somthign similar with hiding systray by icon class and vtray lets you have a scrolling systray. But as for having them auto hide inactive ones after a certain time no

I'm not sure about vtray, but afaik systray2 can do that with "SystrayIconTimer"

It's suppoted in vtray using VTrayHide. Jezz mentioned that you can hide specific icons using the class, but it also supports a configurable timout for the XP-style functionality you're asking about.

Ok, I can hide icons after configurable timeout with that, but can I make it automatically hide inactive icons?

umm, didn't you just answer your own question?? inactive means not active within a certain amount of time. if you can configure the timeout, then...

Doesn't that timeout mean that it hides the icon automatically after that time has passed? Nothing to do with activity of icon, as far as I can see.
