hey, I'm using the default theme that comes with the ez2install package. Is there an easier way to get access to the playlist, or to just edit it, without going through WinAmp? cause the way I have to do it now, I have to have WinAmp running in tray just to get to the playlist, and I cant open the files one by one, I I dont want to make playlists for every band, genre, album and so on..
huh?? you want to be able to access the playlist even if winamp isn't running?
No, but It probably isn't possible to do what I want...
well, what DO you want then?
Are you aware you can add songs to the WinAmp playlist though your file manager? Simply right-click on a file/files/folder/folders and select "Enqueue in Winamp".
If your theme uses dynamp (or GeekAmp) you can use !Amp_PlayList to display winamp2's playlist editor.
yes, I am aware of that, but to browse through 2000 mp3's to enque a certain band is just as "hard" as my current method. But if there were a !bang to call WinAmp's playlist, that would be perfect..
yes, Amp_Playlist was what I wanted. it's perfect, execpt the playlist z-ordering is a little off :) thanks
you could just right click on the folder and enqueue it in winamp...I do that all the time.
There's the media library, too...
well, most amp modules have a bang to open the playlist. but you would still have to browse for the files/folders. maybe you're just not explaining it well, I'm not sure.

English isn't my native language, but I thought the quoted text would explain it. anyways, what I wanted was !Amp_PlayList
