Instead of displaying them through a "right-click" on the default "austerity" theme, how can I make them appear on the bar? I've managed to make the skin into a single bar after modifying the images and config files... but I would rather have the REAL quickstart icons on the Bar and not through a "right-click"

I've tried to look at how it does it through right-click but it is not very clear.

hmmm... as far as i know, there really isnt any way to do that with the module austerity uses. unfortunately, there really isnt any better option... you could use a popup, but it wouldnt be horizontal, and you couldnt show just the icon.you may want to look into scandir, since im thinking that there might be a way to accomplish this with it, but ive never used scandir before, so im not sure.

hmm, but I think deskfolders will only show icons on the desktop, not on specified locations like the bar.

I read in a post a while ago that you might be able to use MZScript to read the contents of a directory (in this case a directory of shortcuts) and then feed what it finds into Shortcuts since shortcuts has support for displaying icons. This was a theory and I don't know the specifics.

deskfolders can be used to show icons anywhere... even on the bar. at different locations... just read its documentations... might help...
