Well basically i have a lot of time in hand right now. so if anybody wants his/hers favourite theme converted to the OTS2 format, please post a link to it and i will convert it and post it here. I will do all the permissions and stuff too.

143lsstep: remember that weatherdesk doesnt work anymore ;) you'll have to replace it by other one, like lookoutside.dll

yeah sryo know that. weatherdesk would simply crash the theme. but i have just disabled it as of now. didnt knew there was a lookoutside.dll !! now i will update it.

you could update surazal themes, i think you'll be able to find them on lsthemes.com

strangely lsthemes.com is throwing up an error.
"Can't connect to MySQL.

Replace OTSMayorVersion 2 by OTSMajorVersion 2
Remove ModulesDir "$ThemeDir$Modules"
Remove include "$PersonalDir$personal.rc"

Remove *NetLoadModule hotkey.dll

i dont know if i forgot something.
edit: and remove that theme.rc that's on the root of the zip.

wait a couple of days more for the release of tritium, it's been 2 years, a day of two more dont do any harm :P

i see the problem with lookoutside, try with http://www.perceive.net/xml/weather/
if it doesnt work google *weather xml*, one of the results will work :P

ok sryo thanks for the info on lookoutside. trying it now... btw yesterday i converted a whole lot of themes....
All Surazal Themes, DST by moshi, iBDE Green, Mode 7, Perimiter, SuedE and XenOS.
Will send permission mails to all authors today.

Reckon you could have a look through the themes list for the latest version of my Partay Express theme? Make sure you get the latest one and not the original one ;) there's 2 copies!

Has anyone been able to convert Turtle Soup II Mariner to work on the latest build of Litestep installer? I cannot get it to work. Has it been converted to OTS2 format yet? Let me know, thanks.

Ahh darn it. Its been my favorite past theme. I guess I'll work on it some more. Could it be emailed to me? Proabably not by his request I guess.

oh so the theme was removed. i thought there was some problem with the upload. i tried contacting doodle. but all links/mail ids in the theme folder didnt work. shouldnt have released it without permissions though. sorry devilboi if it caused u any inconvinience though... and to doodle too.

hey sryo !! i am having some trouble with surazaal themes... they all use boxes and docking. and the docking part makes them go haywire ! except for the docking .... the themes are all well and good.

1) Notes by Ceeslans -- Maybe the only theme that i like which has a wharf !!!
2) 18 and 21 by Darkfyre -- 21 is probably the best of the series.
3) Einsteinium by Godzilla MK.
4) Dream by hexbind
5) mass2 by jalist
6) Phusion by techspider
7) Shift by filter
8) Blue OS by pika
9) Workpanel by TNL (Some probs with this one)..

All converted and running smoothly. About 10-12 more in progress..... so some great themes coming soon.... if i get the permissions that it... :)

Hi 143lsstep, could you have a look at this theme please: Its called non|step, and doesnt run at all for me. I've only just started using LiteStep, and installed the most recent build (3), but from my quick reading, I believe this nonstep theme doesn't work because its not ots2? its ots1.

Yeah ivoryex had some problems for me, there might be an updated version at lsfrance cuz i think the author is french?
