I downlaoded litestep about a weekago, and am interested in doing a little customization. Maybe not a whole new theme, just yet.
If i were to change stuff, or make a theme, where do i even begin?
A good starting point would be the "tutorials" thread I guess. Then again if you just want to modify an existing theme all you need to do is read the docs of the modules and figure out what additional functionality they offer (beyond what the theme already uses).
Try adding a module from one theme to one that doesn't have it. Learned tons that way, and got one coming along great. Still have to read the docs to see what commands to use/not use.
