I've noticed a small bug with ckhotspot where if you use a hotspot to open a popup, focus is not given to the popup. Since the popup does not have focus it will not disappear when you give focus to a different application. So before you can make it disappear you need to manually give focus to the popup then change focus. Does anyone know a work around for this? It's very annoying.

I found out that it's ocassionally possible to do that without any neat tricks. I don't know what is causing it but what I have to do is to click the popup titlebar and push esc, sometimes merelyfocusing and unfocusing it does not work.

And this served very little purpose, if someone has a solution, share it with us.
