shellon v2 is fine with 2k, as long as you don't use the 'set shellon as shell' button. (at least, that bug exists under xp; i'm assuming it's the same under 2k.) shellonv3 is fully compatible, but it doesn't have as many features as it's still in beta. there's also carapace.
