In the past, I had the same problem with grdtransparent and shortcut2 while making invisible shortcuts to the sides and corners of the screen. Magic pink will not work because Windows will then let mouse clicks through the bitmap to whatever is lying under it.

If there is a possibility to use alpha transparency (ie. in PNG, the only usable image format, some modules also have such built-in), set it so that the shortcut isn't fully transparent, just 254/255 transparent.

It's invisible to you allright, but Windows will still actually have to draw it and mousemask in that position is that of the shortcut.

Alpha transparency is slow of course, so if you're afraid of resource loss, other options may be better.
