Control Panel, Admin Tools, Services. I may not be giving you any helpful info for LiteStep. But at least take a look and see if anything seems a little unusual. So the default theme (simplicity) works just fine? No errors with it? I get the black bar on the Welcome screen too. So far it hasn't bothered me too badly. *grin*
