well a touchscreen is almost like a touchpad, but instead you're using the real screen :) ...i guess.
it's actually same as using a usual mouse, only that touchscreen is more unprecise so the buttons need to be larger. that's where ls steps on the stage. with ls you can make your desktop buttons be as big as you wish :)
