Just to clarify the general license issue:
The only "Litestep stuff" that falls under the GPL is the Litestep Source code itself. Nothing else related to Litestep is under the GPL unless the said author specifically puts it under the GPL. This means that graphics, logos, themes, scripts etc are not automatically under the GPL.
