that's a wierd problem, that I haven't seen a fix for yet... But, there is a work around, if you just go to control panel and open the mouse control panel, all of the regular features of your mouse will be available... that's all there is to it... I remember seeing something about it in http://lsfaq.shellfront.org but I can't find it now...
