ghost is very popular (in terms that many people seem to like it a lot), however that doesn't mean that you'll like it at all. themes are too user dependent, you won't most likely find one that is "everyone's favourite".

as for myself, i don't even care of most other's themes at all (note: this is not arrogance or ignorance), since i never found anyone i could work with the same way i do with my own themes. i just use other's themes as an inspiration ad to find out how things work/can be done. as soon as i had tried ls, i started creating my own theme (hm, maybe also because i had the one default theme and no internet ;) ).
