You referencing the windows Task Scheduler? The reason I use the Alarm, is because I have to change it on a daily basis. I use it as a reminder for work. I have it set to play an mp3 about 35 minutes before I go to work, and all that requires with Alarm is a few keystrokes in the shell.rc and I am good to go. Plus I have it to pop up !msgbox say on every Thursday to remind my wife to record Survivor. Which then you may say, why not use the record option on the VCR. (Already in use - I dare not touch it)
