I tried the above and it didn't work for me before...
what I did (and it worked) was switch to Explorer (open the theme switcher & click on the Explorer button), and once Explorer is open, go to the LiteStep folder under the Start Menu and click on the Uninstall icon. Once you reboot it should be put Explorer.exe back as the shell and you can then delete the LiteStep folder/themes.
