The best way, IMO, would be to browse around a little, and whenever you find a theme that looks good for you when it comes to layout, you could try to tweak the colours (gfx and all) to suit your needs. I realize that this sort of advice isn't always what ppl want, but I can assure you that there is nothing better than actually being able to fit a LS-theme to your preferences, well, apart from building it from scratch, of course!!
