im ritin, cus my explorer is a shell... its confusin, i cnt uninstall it, cus wen i do, its just the background, n all i can do is press ctrl+alt+del, n click new task, how can i have my old task bar bak?

What? Apart from not barely being able to read your question I don't really understand your problem. You can't uninstall the explorer shell? Why would you want to?

I could take guesses at what your problem really but I'm not that keen.

I believe he is saying the LiteStep is running on top of explorer and it is confusing him. Which means he didn't get LS installed correctly so he should just try and reinstall LS and not try to uninstall explorer.

ahh, yes. running "c:\litestep\litestep.exe -install" should fix that, right? It can be kinda confusing when you have 2 shells compeating for your desktop

im guessing your running winxp/2000
ok your problem is that explorer exists as a file manager and also as a shell...

to fix this problem

Lot's of guesses here, so littlemosher why not explain with more detail/clearer what is your problem?
