problem with lsapi.dll Thread last updated on 2003-05-16 23:30:28

hi

im currently running winxp and recently my brother wanted to use litestep as well...

so i followed the instructions in
http://www.brembs.net/litestep/win2k.html
as i had other ppl in the house that wouldnt have adapted to litestep very well.

after that i overwrote files from the litestep installer (one available at http://www.beyondconvention.net/ohussain/)
with the latest stable indiebuild http://indiestep.sourceforge.net/

but now my newer themes (the ones that require indiebuild) don't work properly and gives me the error "The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic library lsapi.dll "...

my friend advised me that the error stated there only occurs with older builds wanting a newer lsapi.dll...so i have no idea why that occurs

does anyone out there have a solution to this problem?

Are you sure you killed litestep before overwriting it ?

you have to kill litestep before overwriting it?
lol

ok so now do i have to uninstall then reinstall or can i just login from a non-litestep account and overwrite?
