I wanted to ask if a "log me in automatically" feature will be available for the site. first of all we have to log in to see the content, and second of all i get signed out like every minute. so that would be a nice feature, or at least some cookie login tracking, etc. thanks.

and non-huge ls.net image that I have to get every login ughh.

Nice site.
I like the comment boxes and the communal profile ss's/theme upload feel...

If this isn't added, how about making the login after you have timed out get you back to the page that take you back to that page, instead of how it is now return you to the front page (annoying when you're going through the forum, do something else, have to login again and then look up where you were again).

no....no....and...uhmm...no...

If you would have read down further through the comments, or through the news, you would have found that the login to the site, as it stands, is required by our host. It is a requirement of our free unlimited hosting and will not be altered.

As for that HUGE image...it is 14k...and you cache it anyways...so it will be staying.

As for remembering where you were, its not possible in the current setup.

DeViLbOi: I'm not asking for the login to be removed, just a "log me in automatically" feature to be added, or the timeout extended?

Yeah, a cookie would be nice, so IE could finish my login for me.... (so i'm lazy... bleh...)

or at least a little script to place the cursor in the username field when the page loads would be nice too..
just throw these few lines between the head tags:

alter the body tag to:

and alter the form tag to:

thank you catacalysmo, I take pride in my work also.. no flowers, please! ;P I do agree that big fat ugly 14k of an image could either be cut down or made more attractive, though.. But at this point, I'm just grateful enough to have the site back at all

if you don't like what you see...

A) Suggest something else by mailing it in.
B) Write your own damn site.

As for putting code here...hell no. There is no way I am letting people like chuvi post javascript in themes and profiles on how much of a god he is.

thats fair enough, but you still haven't told us what you think about the cursor suggestion as far as snapping back about chuvi. I sent you and the webmaster the code so you could see how simple it is to do something that would make our login experience so much smoother.

I sent the code along to someone on the coding team and they will make the call. I have learned to stay out of it. :)

Yeah, devilboi tends to break code he touches :)
