Not much info, but if I had to guess I'd say: Download the fixed LSTS and try again.

XP / NT: After you get the error, press ctrl+alt+delete and open your browser. Download the new LSTS, run it, select your theme.

95/98/Me: I'm not sure what the quick way is. Maybe someone can post it. The only way i know how is the following:

1) Start the computer with a bootdisk.
2) When you get to C:\> type edit and press enter
3) Open c:\windows\system.ini
4) Change the line that says shell=c:\litestep\litestep.exe or something like that to shell=explorer.exe
5) Save the system.ini and reboot.

Now you are back to explorer. Download the fixed LSTS and try again.

If this doesn't work. Give me a better description of the error.

does anyone know why almost nobody ever gives the actual problem they're having, but they still expect help? In some cases you don't really need more info, but THEY don't know that.

For win 9x if you don't have a bootdisk: just hit F8 after your computer posts (makes the beep when it's done checking ram) you'll get a start up menu, and choose "Command Prompt Only" but finish with the steps you specified

c:>edit system.ini

change:
shell c:\litestep\litestep.exe
to:
;shell c:\litestep\litestep.exe
shell=explorer.exe

reboot, and your back to explorer, to switch to LS switch:

shell=explorer.exe
;shell c:\litestep\litestep.exe

to:

;shell=explorer.exe
shell c:\litestep\litestep.exe

HOWEVER: This is ALL in the manual.

F8 WORKS ON WINxp too, but if you connect on another logon you dont use litestep shell

I use a launcher programme , (Turbolaunch), and i add a short
for the LSTS.exe so I can change the theme in this case.

If SomeOne Known how to use correctly the MacOsX theme, Please E-mail me At Ricozed@hotmail.com
Thanks
