weirdness with installer 2.1 Thread last updated on 2003-05-09 14:04:32

During installation, the installer is telling me that it can't copy lsapi.dll. After installation, lsapi.dll is there where it should be. However, on restart, Litestep won't start up, giving me the error message "lsapi.dll file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL:SHEmpty RecycleBinA"

Huh? I'm on windows 95....

Thanks, that sorted it out.

Hmmm... the simplicity theme looks nice, but doesn't seem to work very well - icons on the task bar often fail to work and the task bar hangs around when explorer goes full screen (and sometimes it doesn't...)

Can anyone recommend a rock hard reliable, fast, and minimal theme?

Icons failing on the task bar.... noticed that this only really happens when the download dialogue box from Internet Explorer is involved, but the task bar thing is a pain.

lots of good themes out there...trial and error is your friend in this world.
