Taskbar3 has been working very fine, but recently it started doing something quite annoying. occasionally, when i recycle ls, i get an error msg from taskbar3: "Exception while quitting module." And then another one: "Could not register taskbar window class." It doesn't happen always, but after a few recycles. I'm using winxp and eoz theme. can anyone help, plz?

It does that sometimes here too, and it's really odd (I'm on Win2k and ls 0.24.7 beta3). Ok, I can't help for the moment (it hasn't done it for some time). It seems that taskbar3 doesn't unload cleanly .... quitting and restarting ls should help, that's all i can say.

You can make a script to unload it before recycle

I wish someone would make a script so it will support transparency.

Um Smurth, what would that script be...LOL!!?? I have a theme using LSBox that does the same thing Egonz taskbar3 does...but every single time I unload it. I went nuts last night trying to figure how to script it to unload...LOL
Little help here? Thanks

Johnny Fist: If a module (as Taskbar3 does) doesn't handle transparency at all, there's no way to make it transparent. You can do almost everything you want with scripts... except miracles :(
AStarvinArtist: Have you tried to destroy the box ?

Smurth, I am a newbie coder. Just starting to get the hang of it. I have used LS for 3 years and focused mainly on graphics until the last few months. I have tried all sorts of things...LOL! I will try that, but it sounds ominous...ty for the tip.

Not to thread-jack, but how come taskbar3 doesn't have transparency support?

if a module doesn't support transparency you can, actually, make it transparent, just not with scripts. what transparency are we talking about, though? do you mean true transparent windows using magic pink, or do you mean translucency? i'm assuming true magic pink transparency, since translucency can be achieved with a couple of different modules already.

If you load taskbar3 in an lsbox you can apply lsbox' transparency to it ;)

grdMagick.dll can make some other modules transparent, right? Never tried it with taskbar3 tho...
