how stupid am I being... Thread last updated on 2003-05-06 13:23:40

I've got magic pink on a label and in the taskbar (tasks.dll). Fake transparency simply draws the background wallpaper over the top of open windows etc. When I attempt to change from 'fake' to 'true' transparency the magic pink shows up. Its odd because I have magic pink being properly transparent in my popup...
What am I doing wrong then? Any suggestions?

About Tasks, you should use "TasksTransparency real"
About Labels... I guess it's just like that. You shouldn't have OnTop Labels when they have transparent regions.

ack! You were right, I was wrong... I had TasksTransparency "true"
What's wrong with ontop transparent labels?

You should use:
TasksTransparency real

ontop transparent labels show the desktop in transparent regions, not the window it's over.
