As for: Desktop, taskbar, vwm, etc...

i listen that for desktop is jdesk and taskbar taskbar3 and vwm is vwmrabid... is true???

there are no "most used" modules really. it either does the job and is the only one around, or there are a whole bunch that do the same thing but really differently and are used for different purposes.

I use to play with jDesk, RabidVWM, MzScript and Labels. About the taskbar, it depend on what you want to do. Both have advantages and lack. You can play a while with Layercut, LSDynamic and Rainmeter if you like eye-candy.
But you can't miss LSXCommand...

Personally I can't live without a Weather script whether it be GetWeather or WeatherDesk...a Winamp setup via GrdAmp, GeekAmp and jAmpToo...and a bunch of hotkeys.
